Ange-Marie Hancock is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Gender Studies at the University of Southern California’s Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Dr. Hancock is the author of several books about intersectionality, politics, and social justice, the most recent of which is titled Solidarity Politics for Millennials and was published by Palgrave MacMillan in 2011. Dr. Hancock is the Founder and Executive Director of RISIST, or the Research Institute for the Study of Intersectionality and Social Transformation. RISIST serves social justice researchers and practitioners in improving their knowledge and praxis with online training programs and research assistance.
